The 18 Sacred Steps of Sabarimala
The pilgrimage to Sabarimala culminates at the Pathinettampadi – the 18 sacred steps that lead to Lord Ayyappa's sanctum. These steps are not merely physical. Each step represents a spiritual hurdle, a vice to be conquered, a lesson to be learned. Pride. Ego. Desire. Anger. The climb is symbolic – you ascend not just a staircase, but through layers of your own consciousness.
Only those who have completed the 41-day vratham and carry the Irumudi on their heads are permitted to climb these steps. It is the final test. By the time a devotee reaches the 18th step and stands before the shrine, they are no longer the person who began the fast 41 days ago. They have been transformed through discipline, through sacrifice, through surrender. The steps break you down so that when you finally prostrate before Swamy, you arrive empty – ready to be filled with grace.
This is why we made 18 pieces. Not as a marketing tactic. As an act of devotion. Each tee represents one step. Each person who wears this carries a piece of that sacred climb. Whether you've made the pilgrimage or not, wearing this is a reminder: transformation requires ascent. One step at a time.

*The tee shirt is an oversized cut, box tee, that is 100% cotton but of a slightly heavier weight as opposed to regular cotton tees, but less heavier than the Premium line.

xMade from a heavyweight 100% pure cotton material of 260GSM (Basic line) & 320GSM (Premium line), The Basic line is the right amount of weight to comfort ratio. Heavy enough to hold its shape but light enough to be breathable. The Premium line tees are heavy and meant to favour aesthetics over comfort. Breathability low but aura and luxe at the highest. Oversized box cut. DTG print.

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
